The ultimate Icelandic escape: Golden Circle and Blue Lagoon retreat.
Experience the best of Iceland with this package of two of the island’s most popular tours in one day! The Golden Circle encompasses the must-see sights of Þingvellir National Park, the golden Gullfoss waterfall, and the bubbling geothermal region of Geysir. After touring the landmarks, soak in the milky blue healing water of the Blue Lagoon.
Departing from Reykjavík, guests will visit Þingvellir National Park, known for its exceptional beauty, geological significance, and historical relevance. The tour also visits Gullfoss, Iceland’s most famous waterfall, where two tiers of water crash and tumble metres below. Rounding out the Golden Circle, the tour stops at the geothermal region of Geysir, a powerful reminder that Iceland is very much alive, with steam and water erupting meters into the air from the Strokkur geyser every few minutes. This is where the word geyser comes from!
After an incredible day of exploring south Iceland’s most famous sights, your guide will head back to Reykjavík, continuing to the Blue Lagoon, one of Iceland’s top attractions!
Built on an 800-year-old lava field, the Blue Lagoon draws visitors from around the world to soak in its unique milky-blue waters amid a dreamlike landscape. The geothermally heated water ranges between 37-39°C (98-102°F) and is heavenly any time of year. Bathing during the summer is lovely, especially on sunny days; and in the winter, a visit to the Blue Lagoon is relaxing and wonderful; watching as snow falls while lounging in hot water.
This tour package features Comfort Admission to the Blue Lagoon, which includes a silica mud mask, an included drink in the in-water bar, and the use of a towel.
After enjoying all that the Blue Lagoon offers, you return to Reykjavík on a new and comfortable coach with free Wi-Fi.
