At Icelandia, we believe that fairness and equality are fundamental to creating a just and thriving workplace. We are committed to fostering an environment where every individual is valued equally, regardless of their personal characteristics or background.

Equal pay is not only a matter of compliance with legal standards but also a reflection of our core values of respect, fairness, and integrity. By promoting pay equity, we aim to build a culture of trust, attract and retain top talent, and contribute to a more equitable society.

Our Equal Pay Policy is designed to guarantee maximum equality in wage determination, without regard to factors such as trade union membership, political affiliation, age, social background, marital status, gender characteristics, sexuality, gender expression, gender identity, race, personal beliefs, physical or mental ability, pregnancy, religion, origin, or nationality.

Our employees receive equal pay and the same benefits for work of equal or comparable value. This includes both base salary and any other forms of compensation. Additionally, Icelandia employees enjoy equal benefits related to pension, holiday, and sick leave, as well as any other working conditions or financial rights.

To ensure the successful implementation of our Equal Pay Policy, companies within Icelandia are committed to developing, documenting, and maintaining an effective equal pay system. Any unexplained pay gaps will be addressed through continuous monitoring and improvement efforts.

Our Equal Pay Policy is anchored in the Law on Equal Status and Equal Rights of the Sexes No. 150/2020, the Act on Equal Treatment in the Labor Market No. 86/2018, and the Equal Pay Standard ÍST 85:2012.
