Unwind in geothermal bliss, then chase aurora magic.

Enjoy a perfect winter day in Iceland! Experience the best of Iceland with this package of two of the island’s most popular tours in one day! Soak in the milky blue healing water of the Blue Lagoon, which is one of Iceland's most famous tourist attractions and is considered by many to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience and an unmissable part of a visit to Iceland. After your return to Reykjavík, a guide will lead you on a search for the elusive northern lights! Watching the lights dance and flicker in the sky, changing shape and colour, is incredible. Prepare to be dazzled!

Departing from Reykjavík in the afternoon, guests will visit the Blue Lagoon, one of Iceland’s top attractions! Built on an 800-year-old lava field, the Blue Lagoon draws visitors from around the world to soak in its unique milky-blue waters amid a dreamlike landscape. The geothermally heated water ranges between 37-39°C (98-102°F) and is heavenly any time of year. Bathing during the winter is relaxing and wonderful, watching as snow falls while lounging in hot water.

The Blue Lagoon offers lava and moss-filled scenery, state-of-the-art facilities, a unique atmosphere and silica masks that make your skin extra firm yet incredibly soft! This tour package features Comfort Admission to the Blue Lagoon, which includes a silica mud mask, an included drink in the in-water bar, and the use of a towel.

After enjoying all that the Blue Lagoon offers, you return to Reykjavík on a new and comfortable coach with free Wi-Fi.

Upon arrival back in Reykjavik, you will have some free time to relax, have dinner and wait for your next adventure in the evening, a hunt for the extraordinary northern lights. Make sure to wear warm clothes!

In Iceland, the aurora borealis attracts everyone from professional photographers to travellers with the phenomenon on their list of things they must experience. You’ll have the best chance of seeing the night lights when it’s cold and dark outside and the aurora activity is high. The cold isn’t a factor, but the sky has to be clear, which is usually on extremely cold nights.

The phenomenon is caused by solar winds, which push electronic particles to collide with molecules of atmospheric gases that cause the emission of bright light. The best time to see the northern lights in Iceland is from September to March.

The northern lights tour will take you out of the city for the best possible view of the lights. The locations visited during the northern lights tour vary from day to day, depending on weather conditions and solar activity.

Because this tour is weather-dependent, sightings are not guaranteed. However, if you do not see any northern lights during this tour, you are welcome to join the tour again, free of charge. Indicated return times may vary if the activity is good.

Rejuvenate your body and soul with this combination of the two most popular winter activities: visiting the Blue Lagoon and joining a northern lights tour!
