When visiting the Sky Lagoon, a towel is included in the price of your admission. Swimsuits are available to hire or to buy if you need one too, as well as any toiletries.
There is also a restaurant and bar, so you don’t need to bring refreshments along with you.
So all you really need to bring is yourself!
There is no time limit on your experience in the Sky Lagoon. You can stay for as long as you want until closing time. In the winter, closing is at 10pm and that extends to 11pm in the summer.
Yes, it’s possible to see the Northern Lights from the Sky Lagoon. In the infinity pool, the sky opens up before you with enormous views over the sea.
Of course, you’ll have to come when it’s dark and the skies are clear to see the Northern Lights from the spa. The Northern Lights are best seen in the darkest months of the year—mainly November, December, and January.

The easiest way to visit the spa is with a Sky Lagoon transfer from Reykjavík. Join us in the heart of the city and we’ll take you directly there. We run four transfers to the Sky Lagoon from Reykjavík everyday—there and back—so you can travel with all the flexibility you need.
Alternatively, if you’ve hired a car for your trip, all you need to do is head south of the city centre to the Kársnes Harbour, Kópavogur. You’ll find the Sky Lagoon at the tip of the peninsula, overlooking the ocean.
If you’re not coming from Reykavík, follow signs to the city before deviating to Kársnes harbour.

The Lagoon itself closes half an hour before the official closing time. The restaurant and bar close an hour before.
With a Sky Lagoon admission ticket, you can spend as long as you would like in the pool. It’s common to spend up to two hours or more in the Lagoon itself, but you can spend longer—or less time—if you choose.
